Located on the Plateau de l'Espace in Vernon, the MaiaFactory will take over from the Maia Proto-Factory, where the various prototypes and first flight models of the Maia launcher are currently produced and tested, starting in the second half of 2027. It will handle the production of the launcher's various components before their road transport to Le Havre, and then their shipment to French Guiana for final assembly.

Conceived as a flexible and scalable infrastructure, the factory will be deployed progressively until it reaches a surface area of approximately 12,000 square meters at full capacity. This implies the annual production of around twenty upper stages consumed per mission, as well as a variable number of main stages depending on the barge recovery rate.

Our project is industrial, and our ambition is clear: to ensure a rate of around twenty launches per year from French Guiana by the beginning of the next decade, thus contributing to French and European autonomy in terms of access to space.
